Un oficial de la policía de Filadelfia está siendo investigado luego de que un video colgado en la red social Instagram lo expusiera deteniendo a un adolescente afroamericano que, junto a otros compañeros, solo esperaba el autobús de su escuela en una parada.

Según trascendió en el portal Philadelphia Magazine, una de las acompañantes del joven, Asia Wilkerson, y quien colgó en sus redes sociales el video de los hechos, narró que se encontraba esperando el autobús junto a Jahvon Beever y otros compañeros, cuando una patrulla pasó, disminuyó la velocidad y los miró, pero continuó su marcha. Minutos más tarde, la patrulla regresó con más agentes.

Al regreso, se bajó el oficial y llamó a Beever, que se encontraba sin camisa porque 'hacía demasiado calor' ese día. Sin ofrecer explicación alguna le obligó a subir a la patrulla. Acto seguido, aludió, mofándose, a que el adolescente estaba 'temblando' y a que se lo contara a sus amigos.

'Seguí preguntándole por qué estaba haciendo esto', dijo la joven que grabó el video al medio a la vez que el joven indicó que el oficial le apretó la mano y le gritó.

'Empecé a temblar, tenía miedo por mi vida', dijo también el adolescente. La familia del adolescente exige respuestas mientras el Departamento de la Policía de Filadelfia inició una pesquisa tras la viralidad del video colgado en las redes sociales.
