El Servicio Nacional de Meteorolog\u00eda (SNM) en San Juan inform\u00f3 el jueves que Juncos, Las Piedras y San Lorenzo permanecen bajo aviso de inundaciones repentinas hasta las 6:30 de la tarde por lluvias intensas asociadas a tormentas el\u00e9ctricas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan el SNM, el radar Doppler detect\u00f3 tormentas con lluvias fuertes sobre la zona bajo aviso, donde ya han ca\u00eddo entre 3 y 7 pulgadas de lluvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El SNM indic\u00f3 que podr\u00edan caer entre 1 y 2.5 pulgadas adicionales, lo que mantiene el riesgo de inundaciones repentinas que representan peligro para la vida en quebradas, zonas urbanas, carreteras, calles y pasos bajo nivel.<\/p>

La agencia inform\u00f3 que la carretera PR-936 en Las Piedras fue cerrada por inundaciones. Tambi\u00e9n report\u00f3 anegaciones en varios tramos de esa v\u00eda, incluidos cruces bajos sobre la quebrada Honda y sectores cercanos a la urbanizaci\u00f3n Villa Las Piedras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El SNM se\u00f1al\u00f3 que entre los sectores que podr\u00edan verse afectados figuran San Lorenzo, Juncos, Las Piedras, La Fermina, Jagual, El Mango y Pueblito del R\u00edo.
