El Servicio Nacional de Meteorolog\u00eda (SNM) en San Juan inform\u00f3 el martes que 15 municipios del interior, norte y sur permanecen bajo advertencia de inundaciones hasta horas de la noche por lluvias asociadas a tormentas el\u00e9ctricas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan el SNM, el radar Doppler detect\u00f3 lluvias fuertes con acumulaciones entre 1 y 4 pulgadas en municipios como Barranquitas, Ciales, Jayuya, Orocovis, Adjuntas, Utuado, Arecibo, Manat\u00ed, Morovis, Vega Baja, Juana D\u00edaz, Ponce y Villalba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El SNM indic\u00f3 que se esperan cantidades adicionales de entre 1 y 2 pulgadas de lluvia, lo que puede provocar inundaciones urbanas, aumentos en quebradas peque\u00f1as y acumulaci\u00f3n de agua en carreteras y cruces bajos en las zonas afectadas.<\/p>

La agencia a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que en municipios como Barceloneta, Florida y otros del norte se reportan condiciones similares, con agua en \u00e1reas de pobre drenaje y aumento en arroyos que normalmente permanecen secos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El SNM exhort\u00f3 a la ciudadan\u00eda a no cruzar carreteras inundadas y a tomar precauciones, especialmente en horas de la noche, al recordar que la mayor\u00eda de las muertes relacionadas con inundaciones ocurre dentro de veh\u00edculos.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
