El Servicio Nacional de Meteorolog\u00eda (SNM) en San Juan inform\u00f3 el viernes sobre la presencia de tronadas fuertes con r\u00e1fagas de viento y posible formaci\u00f3n de nubes tipo embudo que afectan los municipios del noroeste de Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan el SNM, el sistema de tormentas fue detectado a las 2:19 de la tarde cerca de Aceitunas, en el \u00e1rea de Isabela, y se mueve hacia el oeste a una velocidad de 15 millas por hora (MPH).<\/p>

El radar Doppler indic\u00f3 r\u00e1fagas de viento de hasta 40 millas por hora (MPH), con lluvias torrenciales que pueden generar inundaciones localizadas, adem\u00e1s de la posibilidad de nubes embudo. Las r\u00e1fagas podr\u00edan derribar ramas de \u00e1rboles y mover objetos sueltos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El SNM exhort\u00f3 a la ciudadan\u00eda a buscar refugio bajo techo, no cruzar carreteras inundadas y evitar estar al aire libre ante el riesgo de rayos y vientos fuertes. Tambi\u00e9n advirtieron que los rayos pueden impactar hasta a 10 millas del centro de la tormenta.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
