La industria de la m\u00fasica toma nota.<\/i><\/p>\n

Como muestra del auge de los ritmos latinos, y de las nuevas formas de negocio en la industria de la m\u00fasica, la revista Billboard tom\u00f3 nota esta semana de los exitos de los cantantes puertorrique\u00f1os de trap Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, quien usa el nombre art\u00edstico ‘Ozuna’, y Benito Antonio Mart\u00ednez Ocasio, conocido como ‘Bad Bunny’.<\/p>\n

El caso de Bad Bunny es notable porque, haciendo carrera solo con canciones en YouTube y sin publicar un solo disco completo, ha penetrado el mercado de las presentaciones en vivo con un agarre millonario.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan Billboard, Bad Bunny se coloc\u00f3 esta semana en cuarto lugar en recaudos de giras, siendo el artista latino que m\u00e1s alto figura en la lista. Bad Bunny est\u00e1 por encima del rockero Billy Joel y solo aparece superado por las megaestrellas Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran y Shania Twain.<\/p>\n

El arrastre de Bad Bunny significa que la segunda parte de su gira La Nueva Religi\u00f3n Tour ha recaudado $5.7 millones, que se unen a los $10.3 millones que recaud\u00f3 en la primera parte de la gira que complet\u00f3 a principios de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Se espera que cuando la segunda parte de la gira termine en noviembre, haya superado los recaudos de la primera parte. La revista destaca<\/a> que Bad Bunny pudo tener ingresos brutos de $1.1 millones en tan solo una presentaci\u00f3n en Nueva Jersey.<\/p>

Por otro lado, la producci\u00f3n ‘Aura’ de Ozuna, quien este fin de semana tuvo conciertos en el Coliseo de Puerto Rico, se convirti\u00f3 en el disco que m\u00e1s veces ha sido escuchado en toda la historia del ‘streaming’ en el genero Latino.<\/p>\n

El ‘streaming’, o el escuchar m\u00fasica en servicios como Spotify y Apple, se ha convertido en la nueva metrica del exito de una producci\u00f3n a la luz de que ya la m\u00fasica pr\u00e1cticamente no se vende en formatos digitales como el disco compacto.<\/p>\n

Por ejemplo, en su primera semana, la producci\u00f3n publicada por VP Entertainment\/DimeloVi\/Sony Music Latin el 24 de agosto tambien tuvo la mejor semana registrada para una producci\u00f3n latina. Ese exito se tradujo al equivalente de 49,000 unidades, de las cuales tan solo 7,000 fueron copias f\u00edsicas y el resto fueron en ‘streaming’.<\/p>\n

Aura tambien represent\u00f3 para Ozuna su primer disco en el Top 10<\/a> de todos los generos de Billboard con la posici\u00f3n n\u00famero 7.<\/p>\n
