Un 89.3% de las torres o antenas de comunicaciones celulares en Puerto Rico a\u00fan est\u00e1n fuera de servicio, confirm\u00f3 hoy la Comisi\u00f3n Federal de Comunicaciones (FCC, por sus siglas en ingles).<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con la agencia federal, 29 municipios a\u00fan tienen el 100% de sus transmisores celulares fuera de servicio. Los dem\u00e1s, excepto San Juan, tienen al menos un 75% del servicio. Seg\u00fan la FCC, s\u00f3lo la capital tiene el 100% del servicio celular funcionando.ce<\/p>

Los municipios que a\u00fan est\u00e1n incomunicados en terminos celulares son: Aguada, Aguas Buenas, A\u00f1asco, Arroyo, Ceiba, Cidra, Comer\u00edo, Florida, Gu\u00e1nica, Guayama, Guayanilla, Hatillo, Jayuya, Lajas, Lares, Las Mar\u00edas, Las Piedras, Lo\u00edza, Maricao, Moca, Morovis, Naguabo, Naranjito, Rinc\u00f3n, San Lorenzo, Utuado, Vieques, Villalba y Yabucoa.<\/p>\n

De igual manera, los sistemas de cable TV est\u00e1n inoperantes.<\/p>\n

El informe de la FCC ‘Communications Status Report for Areas Impacted by Hurricane Maria’ tambien indica que en las Islas V\u00edrgenes estadounidenses el 69.8% del servicio celular est\u00e1 fuera de servicio.
