El cantautor brit\u00e1nico Sting, fundador de The Police, confirm\u00f3 que se presenta el 4 de septiembre en el Anfiteatro Altos de Chav\u00f3n, del sector La Romana en la vecina Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.<\/p>\n

Lo boletos para la presentaci\u00f3n comienzan a venderse ma\u00f1ana. Todav\u00eda no hay informaci\u00f3n de si va a aprovechar la parada caribe\u00f1a para una presentaci\u00f3n en San Juan. Distinto a sus m\u00e1s recientes conciertos sinf\u00f3nicos, para esta presentaci\u00f3n Sting vuelve a su conjunto b\u00e1sico de Dominic Miller en guitarra, David Sancious en teclados, Vinnie Colaiuta en bater\u00eda, y la vocalista Jo Lawry.<\/p>\n

A la vez, Sting anunci\u00f3 la publicaci\u00f3n de ‘Sting: 25 Years’, una caja con tres CDs y un DVD con la que se celebra el 25 aniversario del inicio de su carrera en solitario. Los tres CDs contiene 45 canciones remasterizdas para la ocasi\u00f3n y que han sido revisadas personalmente por el cantante. El DVD recoge im\u00e1genes in\u00e9ditas de un concierto en el Irving Plaza de Nueva York, en 2005, como parte de la gira Broken Music. Adem\u00e1s se incluye un libro con fotos, comentarios personales, y letras escritas a mano.<\/p>\n
