Al final de esta semana, los d\u00edas 24 y 25 de abril, se celebrar\u00e1 el ‘2014 Puerto Rico Investment Summit: Opportunities Under Acts 20 and 22\u2033. Se trata de una reuni\u00f3n empresarial que reunir\u00e1 a m\u00e1s de 200 participantes que llegar\u00e1n a la Isla con el objetivo de conocer m\u00e1s acerca de los beneficios de invertir y de hacer negocios en Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

La actividad se llevar\u00e1 a cabo entre las instalaciones de los hoteles La Concha y el Vanderbilt en el Condado y el St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort en R\u00edo Grande.<\/p>\n

Entre los conferenciantes estar\u00e1n el inversionista John Paulson, principal oficial ejecutivo de Paulson & Co; Nicholas Prouty, socio de Putnam Bridge Funding; Richard Carri\u00f3n, principal oficial ejecutivo de Popular Inc.; y Alberto Bac\u00f3 Bagu\u00e9, Secretario de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Comercio. El tema principal de la conferencia girar\u00e1 sobre las Leyes 20 y 22. La Ley 20, conocida como Ley de Servicios de Exportaci\u00f3n y la Ley 22, de Incentivos Contributivos Individuales. Ambas actas fueron dise\u00f1adas para estimular la econom\u00eda local, mediante exenciones contributivas e incentivos dirigidos a atraer nuevos residentes interesados en invertir la Isla.<\/p>\n
