Los \u00c1ngeles.- La compa\u00f1\u00eda de distribuci\u00f3n FilmNation Entertainment se ha hecho con los derechos del libro ‘The Good House’, cuya adaptaci\u00f3n cinematogr\u00e1fica ser\u00e1 protagonizada por Robert De Niro y Meryl Streep, en el que ser\u00e1 su cuarto trabajo en com\u00fan.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan informa hoy mi\u00e9rcoles la revista especializada Variety, el libro de Ann Leary ser\u00e1 adaptado por el ganador del premio Pulitzer Michael Cunningham, quien ya se encarg\u00f3 de otro proyecto con Streep al frente como ‘The Hours’.<\/p>\n

De Niro y Streep coincidieron previamente en ‘The Deer Hunter’ (1978), ‘Falling in Love’ (1984) y ‘Marvin’s Room’ (1996).<\/p>\n

Jane Rosenthal, socia de De Niro en la compa\u00f1\u00eda Tribeca Productions, se encargar\u00e1 de financiar la cinta.<\/p>

‘The Good House’ es una historia acerca de la negaci\u00f3n y el rechazo contada a trav\u00e9s de los ojos de Hildy Good (Streep), una agente inmobiliaria de Nueva Inglaterra que trata de recuperarse de su adicci\u00f3n al alcohol mientras retoma una relaci\u00f3n sentimental del pasado con Frank Getchell (De Niro).<\/p>\n

‘Es indiscutible la autenticidad y la qu\u00edmica que aportar\u00e1n Meryl y Bob a la hora de dar vida a estos personajes’, dijo Karen Lunder, ejecutiva de FilmNation.<\/p>\n
