R\u00edo de Janeiro.- La multinacional Apple present\u00f3 un recurso ante el Instituto Nacional de Propiedad Industrial (INPI) para intentar recuperar la marca Iphone para telefonos m\u00f3viles en Brasil, cuyo registro fue confirmado hoy miercoles oficialmente como de propiedad del fabricante brasile\u00f1o Gradiente, inform\u00f3 el organismo.<\/p>\n

El INPI public\u00f3 hoy mi\u00e9rcoles en la Revista de Propiedad Industrial, su diario oficial, la decisi\u00f3n en la que rechaza la petici\u00f3n de Apple para registrar la marca Iphone para productos de telecomunicaciones.<\/p>\n

La misma decisi\u00f3n permite que Apple utilice esa marca en otro tipo de productos, como vestimentas, calzados y sombreros, pero no en tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles, dijeron a Efe voceros del INPI.<\/p>

La decisi\u00f3n obedeci\u00f3 a que el registro de la marca Iphone para telecomunicaciones hab\u00eda sido solicitada en Brasil en el a\u00f1o 2000 por el fabricante Gradiente y a que Apple s\u00f3lo lo hizo en 2007, cuando lanz\u00f3 su emblem\u00e1tico tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil.<\/p>\n

El organismo oficial de marcas y patentes aclar\u00f3 que Gradiente present\u00f3 la solicitud primero y que el registro le fue concedido el 2 de enero de 2008.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
