Eran las 9:50 de la noche de ayer jueves cuando agentes del Precinto de Zona Tur\u00edstica de Isla Verde realizaron un arresto por sustancias controladas en la marginal Biascochea en Isla Verde. El arrestado muri\u00f3 despu\u00e9s de desmayarse en el cuartel.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el informe preliminar, en una intervenci\u00f3n vehicular se arrest\u00f3 a Joseph Meguel Lugo, de 43 a\u00f1os, residente en Guaynabo a quien se le ocuparon aproximadamente 2 libras de marihuana, 3 cigarrillos de marihuana, una pipa, $296.00 en efectivo y el veh\u00edculo Toyota Highlander del a\u00f1o 2003 que manejaba.<\/p>

Una vez en el precinto, el arrestado ‘sufri\u00f3 un desmayo, siendo atendido por Emergencias M\u00e9dicas Estatal, quienes lo transportaron al Hospital UPR de Carolina, donde el m\u00e9dico de turno certific\u00f3 su muerte’, indica el informe policial.<\/p>\n
